It’s the Little Things #165
I looked at the calendar this morning and had to double count the days left in March as I can’t believe that April is right around the corner. I love Spring and all that it brings, even though our schedule picks up with sports and activities.
I have some fun finds for you this week to share, including recipes from both Half Baked Harvest and Liv for Cake. If you could use some organizing for your home or are just in the mood for some eye candy, take a look at both Martha Stewart and Domino. So many great ideas!
We love baked sliders at our house so it is no surprise that these pizza dip sliders from Half Baked Harvest caught my eye. Yum!

I have always been a magazine girl and have whittled back my subscriptions over the years. I remember subscribing to Domino way back when and was bummed when they were no longer. Thankfully, they have a beautiful website with links galore for home decorating ideas and so much more.
I’m thinking that carrot cake might be on the Easter menu this year – it may be one of my favorite desserts.This one from Liv for Cake caught my eye. Do you have a favorite carrot cake recipe?

Carrot cake is my absolute favorite. So much so that I ordered it for my wedding cake. Unfortunately there was a nearly identical cake ordered by another bride and the cakes got switched. I got stuck with a horrible white cake which I hate, and she was appalled by her ‘vegetable’ wedding cake. I was furious. And I demanded a refund. So we got free wedding cake. The other bride probably did the same!
